@stokedup, i played the ff15 demo and for me the world was pretty empty which is expected since its a demo, but still. The battle system was way too much action/rpg vibe for my tastes. There was no-lock for you to use on your enemies, the camera had some issues keeping us with the action. The game didnt feel like a ff game, but more in common with star ocean instead, since the vibe is closer to that series. The only part i liked from the demo was the summon, now that was epic and is the only glimmer of hope i have in the game, i just might miss playing a ff game for the first time since ff12 came out, i hated that game with a passion.
Its just sad to see how final fantasy games have fallen to such a disgrace anymore, 2 of my top 3 all-time rpg's are from that series, being ff8 and ff10. I hope that at some point soon, the series can return to form but i dont think that is possible anymore , with the ppl in charge of the series or the company.

. Back on topic, you know what they say; Skyrim was wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle (comparisons to Skyrim are inevitable; it is in my top 10 of all time). TW3 looks to be richer and deeper as well as more.... how do I say this..... vibrant? What I mean is that the towns appear to be more alive than Skyrim's, and the overworld appears to be rich in varied content, from what I've seen. I get the impression that the development team really banded together under one common vision. Maybe with a team of 230 employees at one HQ they were able to get a more united output, yet while still having enough creative variance to produce a rich game. In comparison, Skyrim was developed by a team of ~100, 8 of which created over 100 dungeons which frankly, did not differ that much from eachother. If the dungeon variance in TW3 is greater, and your actions in game actually make a difference to the world around you, I truly believe The Witcher 3 will surpass Skyrim for me.
