i have played every star ocean game, my favorite one is : star ocean the last hope international. and u?

i was just curious what everyone's rpg game in there collection, that they feel didnt get the sales that it deserved?
for ps3 it was : trinity souls of zill o'll
for xbox 360 was : lost odyssey
for wii : xenoblade chronicles
for gamecube : baten kaitos eternal wings and the lost ocean
for ps2 : shadow hearts
for psp : brave story new traveler

I would say I like 1 and 2 equally. 1 is shorter, but I like the main character more. Both have great music and the gameplay is pretty much the same. Is three really that good?

Regarding your next post, Earthbound SNES, Xenoblade AND Arc Rise Fantasia for Wii, ToS got a million for the cube, but its my fav game so it deserved more :)

@zelhawks37, star ocean the last hope international is actually a prequel. but the 4th star ocean game, the star ocean for the ps2 was the 3rd and i thought it was a very good game. i think i put around 85hrs into it if i remember correctly.

ive only owned 4 consoles this gen and curerntly only own 3
so:
PS3: Valkyria Chronicles (1million) i know thats not too bad, but this deserves so much better, its really unique with its visuals and gameplay, and the story and characters are some of the best this gen. in My Opinion.

360 I no longer own a xbox360: (same as you ROBO) Lost Odyssy, everybody who plays this says its one of there favorites, and yet sales didnt match its user reviews.

PSP: Trails In The Sky, this is probably my favorite RPG that ive played this year. The story is really well done and the characters are really likable, the people who done the English translation done such a good job on a game that has massive dialogue. This game in my opinion is the one that deserved the sales most. You are left with a big cliffhanger ending, which is supposed to continue in 2 more games (which have been released in japan). Its just it sold so bad they might not localise those 2, i just hope they do. People who have PSP or Vita should give this a try and get into it, you'll like it if you enjoy RPGs.

my other console is the Vita but its too early to say at the moment.

Oh derp I confused the title. So what was great about the 4th one? I don't have an Xbox360 or PS3, but tempted to get the latter due to the rpgs on it.

@zelhawks37, i think the story is pretty decent. the gameplay i really enjoyed and from all the quests,things to collect and all the little endings u can get , really nicely close out each's stories. if final fantasy 10 hd does indeed come out, i will certainly buy it on launch day.

That sounds exactly like 2. Right now, I just got to level 9 in the cave of trials, and those archers............ overpowered.

I want FF9 remake. Zidane is highly underrated as a main character in the ff series IMO

Ok, some rant about KH3D. Why no hikaru's opening? One of the main reasons I was able to beat KH 358/2 days was because I could listen to that song eveything I turned on the game.

Everything is fine, I am actually on my second playthrough!

Im really enjoying Tales of graces F, i had a free day today and so decided to stay home and do nothing all day. so i basically must of spent 5 hours on it today!
I wish i wasnt at work tomorrow now :) i just want to carry on this game to see what happens next! This is why i love RPGs so much! they just grab you like a book, but a interactive book (^o^)
