@mjk45, oh ok. i do like kart racers, mario kart. i just bought a panasonic 3do system from my friends shop and also a sega saturn ( my other one broke ). think i might play evolution 1 on my dreamcast tonight at some point.

what rpg that so far has been only released in japan, would u like to see get released outside japan ? for me its the ps3 version of : tales of vesperia, because i would like ps3 owners who missed playing this very good rpg to experience it.

who here likes : phantasy star portable ? i really like it alot, since i liked the ps2/360 version of the original.

@ robo, talking of dreamcast since you mentioned playing evolution. Ages ago after i mentioned two DC games , record of lodoss war, and draconus cult of the wyrm , you purchased record of lodoss war, did you ever get draconus and how much of record did you play and what did you like /dislike about it i know that most older games don't resonate as much as they did when they first came out because just as in music the remembered enjoyment is a combination of the game and comparable games available at the time plus what  else was happening at that time and place , but taking that into consideration i would still like to know your opinion, by the way i have the evolution games.

Guys what do you think will be the first 90 + JRPg on metacritic this gen?

I hope versus wil be but none of the KH games got over 90. So maybe persona 5, critics seem to like persona.

@mjk45, i am about 12hrs into record of lodoss war and draconus i got , played it for about 1 hr so far. in terms of record of lodoss war,i really like the game and its getting addiciting for me. so based on what i have played so far, i might need to take a break from the ps3 to play it some more. would give it a 8.5/10 as of right now. cool u have the evolution games, which one did u like more ? i liked 1 more, but 2 was still good.

@darth, i think a sequel to lost odyssey has a good chance at coming close to a 90 rating. maybe the new zelda for the wii, has a shot as well, actually if it takes what they did with twilight princess then i believe it will score above a 90 with ease .

@Darth can you make a list of up coming rpgs that might score well and maybe a few smokies and we could then vote on or discuss , the ones we think might make it or get close .

Basically the contenders:

FF Versus XIII -- Made by KH team but no KH got over 90 on metacritic

Persona 5 -- Likely because Persona 4 got over 90

The Last Story -- Possible, but the last Sakaguchi game got below 8 0 on metacritic (Lost Oddessy)

Xenoblade -- lol probably not BUT if it delivers like xenogears did who knows

Final Fantasy XIV -- An MMO...its possible b ut unlikely

Final Fantasy XIII-2 -- If it happens & if they take care of criticisms reviewers had its possible

Final Fantasy XV -- Again...who knows at this point

Lost Oddessy 2 - Maybe critics will like it more?

Demon's souls 2 -- Possible!

They are the only ones I can think of.....I was gonna include WKC2 but again unlikely for that.

@Darth ,good list but i checked metacritic and we do have a 90+ jrpg this gen and it's demon soul's with 90% ,but of the up and comers may be it's sequel can do it as well,but the trouble with sequels is stay close to the previous game and hear quotes like played this last time and more of the same throw at you , or be bold and change things and get asked where is the game we love.
