For all those saying that they are painted are mistaken. That is CG work, maybe touched up with photoshop but it is indeed CG work. You cannot make that level of reflections like on the floor in photoshop. I would know, I am in school for it. As for the White streak in the left top corner, that is not paint. That is a reflection of a flourecent light from the ceiling on the marble like surface of the wall.

And I believe all of those pics are concept art. Just like the face portraits are concept art, still CG work that will be used in the game.

People people people . . . study your history, VGs are replete with "screenshots" from games that have not been released that have looked beautiful, whereas the gameplay graphics (not to mention the gameplay of some of those games!) have severely disappointed. Wait and see, people, wait and see.

Last I heard they were using 100 different actors for mocap. They want every person you see to give off their own vibe, with slightly different body movements. Same thing with voice acting. They dont want to repeat Oblivion where every othere person sounds like the last..

Heavy Rain is going for the most captivating experience ever.

I really like the environments now, specially the kindergarten, very realistic. Thought I don't like the characters that much (the skinny guy)... but anyway, not on par with Crysis, but that's not the point. You guys are comparing orange to apples.
