Halo will "die" sometime, but it might not be beaten by another FPS game.

Nothing will kill halo in terms of sales, but in terms of gameplay? there are many FPS games out there that have Overkilled Halo.

Halo is a sub-pat FPS at best, of course all in my personal opinion games like UT3 and Battlefield: Bad company needs much more skill to master.

You simply can not kill Halo, it is a legendary series...... 3 games all scoring 90%+ and sales for all 3 Halos combined (so far) are at 23,500,000 and thats just on xbox consoles alone, not to mention the expansion pack released for the origional xbox and the PC games plus all the merchandising ect.

You can not kill this unstoppable force............

Hmm... no, apparently not. I guess we'll just have to fall back to Mario Kart Wii or Smash Bros Brawl(eventually) as our Halo Killer.

I bet my 4 dogs and my college tuition (Morehouse) that there wont be one shooter on any other platform this gen, that will outsell halo 3

I think SOMETHING on the Wii is going to be a shooter that outsells Halo 3. Dunno what though.

Nah, I'll take that back. Even PS2 didn't manage anywhere near those sales with any of its FPS games.

Basically since Halo is a good shooter elevated to God status by Xbox fanboys who have apparently never played a FPS before then, there will never be a Halo killer. Halo is just way to over hyped, no matter how good a FPS is, they will say Halo is better.
