FACT - PS3 is dead...

I never said dying.... However it depends on what you would define as dying? To me that would mean going backwards i.e not selling as much as you used to. Which on this evidence would say it is going backwards. To me the fact nearly 3m people bought a console that was not a PS3 shows it is dying really. That is a lot of people who didn't buy the Sony brand. If there were people out there who wanted a PS3 would it really be that low considering it is cheaper then last year? |
lol....its in your post
PS3 is just as costly as last year at this point in time.....it has reached price point saturation + competitors prices are down way below it = Lower sales than last year.
I want Animal Crossing, LBP and Mirror's Edge sales Nao!
Resistance did even worse than we expected. Please don't spin it! 385k in one month is not good at all. Remeber this one should be the Gears of War2 for the PS3.
Left 4 Dead did better than expected. Gears is overtracked. Call of Duty World at war did really good.
I knew that the Wii is big, but this is getting out of control. With this speed, a new Zelda and some JRPGs, the Wii has a good shot to outsell the PS2. Are there still Sony-fans saying the PS3 will pass the Wii?
Xbox360 did really good outselling the PS3 and the PSP combined.
Well declining YoY sales is not a good sign for a two year old console, so Sony should be worried.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Fact - the DS is dead. It was outsold by the Wii. That means it is dead. That's the logic you follow, right?

Yes. Effective in like a week. That would be awesome.

The reason PS3 is in trouble is because it had negative growth compared to the same month last year while its competitors had positive growth (wii had a large amount of it), coupled with the fact it is in last place by a large margin and has reached market saturation at its price point. To top it all off, the company cannot and will not do a price cut on it.
Now Playing: The Witcher (PC)
Consoles Owned: NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, Game Boy, DS
2 million Wii. In one month. In the USA. That is ungodly.
Can it really top this in december?
Shouldn't Wii hit some sort of saturation limit soon, with those numbers (guess not)?
I'm calling this the Wii Peak. I really doubt it can pull off similar numbers next year.
This is invisible text!
Sony knows how much it's selling. They can't afford a price cut. Why is that so difficult to understand?
