Forums - Nintendo - Went with DSLite over DSi for the kids now what about MINE?

I think the built in browser, music editor and picure editor seem like fun

SD-card usage, downloads..hmm

I'm getting it for sure..

you should too...DSi is worth the wait for now..

Any of the touch generation games - Brain Training, NSMB, Mario Kart, Nintendogs, Pokemon... can't go wrong. Cooking Mama is ok, but not the same league as the others.

Mario Party DS rocks as well. Elite Beat if they like music.

PS - I can't recommend "No More Heroes" to be honest - its a very flawed, frustrating experience - with smatterings of coolness. Much better Wii titles out there.

I will definitely get a DSi when it launches - but probably because I'm starting to need a new DS. Mine is getting a little worn from the *hundreds* of hours spent on it.

Only real feature I care about, is the internal storage and downloadable titles.

Don't listen to this man. He clearly doesn't understand the complexity that is No More Heroes. :p

I recommend Nintendogs and Animal Crossing Wild World. (Although both involve some reading, especially Animal Crossing).

My 4 year old cousin loved The Simpsons Game. No reading required and unlimited lives and continues - really suitable for the young gamer.

Cooking Mama 2 is much better than the first. If you enjoyed the Wii version than this is a no brainer.

Couldn't wait got the Crimson and Black DS ...after seeing what they offered in Japan for the DSi I just figured it wasn't worth loosing GBA slot. might get another when DSi comes out and offers anything I am intrested in....Im impatient

THE DSi does not play MP3's, only AAC MP4 files.

Also, the DSi is currently incapable of playing Guitar Hero...

Mario Kart
Super Princess Peach
Dragon Quest Rocket Slime (it's just damn fun and very kid friendly)
Kirby's Canvas Curse (any Kirby game really, they are all good)
Tetris DS
Animal Crossing

Any of those games would make great additions to their gaming library.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
