I couldn't see why they wouldn't add Sonic...they are doing a Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games so it would be possible....O_O

SEGA is developing Mario & Sonic. Nintendo lent Mario and the gang for that game. I am sure there was some reasoning for it...
This isn't real, but it isn't "fake" either. It's a mock up created by GameStop as a place holder for the real cover. These kinds of printed ads are very common with the retailer. In addition, this picture was taken at a New Jersey GameStop, and was confirmed by GoNintendo.
No, it's a shop, that sonic was taken from the trailer for Sonic the hedgehog on 360/PS3...
It may be "real", but only real in the sense that it did come from a games store (and that they made up the art themselves).
I doubt they would have any more idea about extra/new characters in the game than anyone else would.

Like I said I don't see the reason Sonic would be in the game since he appearing in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games....
