*sigh* This place isnt like IGN where everybody thinks there funny and can never have a serious discussion.

We might respect you a little more if you bothered trying some of the games you listed (or even simple research on ones like Zack & Wiki) and perhaps if you at least put a small amount of effort in writing your posts.

I mean really, do you consider a game non-kiddy only if it has blood and gore?

Ratchet and Clank has no blood that isnt kiddy

Ratchet and Clank has no blood that isnt kiddy

And yet Mario Galaxy is, meaning that it's just guns, explosions, and a wise-cracking main character are not kiddy?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I got a Wii because i thought thered be some good fun exclusive games i have 3 games Brawl, Zelda Twiliight Princess and Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. I got Brawl when it came out and haven't had a game for it since because the games are crap. There either 1. Multiplatform games but the versions always worse on Wii than PS3 or Xbox 360. 2. Kiddy exclusives, most of these Wii exclusives are just for little kids, looking at the popular Wii games on here you have Zack and Wiki, De Blob, Super Paper Mario, Opoona, MySims and the Mario games. 3. Things like Wii Fit, Wii Play Cooking Mama that are just challenges with no depth. Are there any Wii games out there that are exclusive, arnt childish, have a story and are good? Please recommend some.

Well, if you don't like Brawl, Zelda, or Resident Evil UC, and you don't like kiddie games, what kind of games do you like.  I mean, those mentioned aren't exactly kiddie (especially RE UC), and it's exclusive, but you so far said you found none that are fun.  Perhaps if you listed some games you like (even if different console), it would be easier to recommend something.

This thread should probably just be locked, it seems very much just a troll thread.

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

Well WFZ, if he doesn't like games on the Wii and the fact that 360 has the undisputed best games library I would think a 360 would be a pretty safe call.

Ok so i had a quick look for Zack and Wiki on youtube, instead of having dialogue it makes a childish noise when your reading text, bright and cartoony with cutesy animals and Zack making silly faces.

?wow.

So then you still have no idea what the game is about?

Reasons why Zack & Wiki is the greatest game this gen:

  • Art style (which you don't like and that's cool)
  • It's different and actually creative
  • It's incredibly challenging
  • It is something you can play with a group of people
  • Above all: it's fun.

It's one of those long forgotten genres that is trying desperately to make a comeback: the point and click adventure.

These always have hard head scratching puzzles that nobody can breeze through.  You may be able to get through the first few levels quickly but after that you'll spend hours trying to figure out how to get to the next area.

This game also improves on the genre by making each level exist in it's own little area.  I know this may sound like a bad thing, but if you've ever played something like King's Quest (or any point and click adventure) where you have to travel the whole world and backtrack to find one little thing you will know why this is a good thing.  It may make it sound like this makes the game easier too but having things in their own contained level doesn't make the game any easier in that aspect and still keeps the challenge.

So if all you're looking for is just a shoot em up fest filled with blood and gore like Gears then you picked the wrong console.  If you want to stop being 12 and actually try some amazing games, get over yourself and give new creative games like Zack & Wiki a try.

If you don't like it... Sell it.

Buy something you like.

End of discussion.
(I don't know what you guys are trying to convince him of. The thread smells of "fake". Move along)

Predictions For Last Full Week of Sales in 2010)

WII - 80.35 Million

360 - 43.88 Million

PS3 - 41.40 Million

More terrible predictions coming Jan. 2011!!!

I suppose you would not play Little Big Planet because it's kiddy...

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Hey all you wii fans, seriously just because some one doesn't like the games on the wii doesn't make them stupid or a troll. I don't like any of those games either, except fire emblem and no more heroes.

When someone criticizes Gears of War or Metal Gear Solid because they don't like shooters, that's perfectly understandable to you. If someone dares not like De Blob or the next"casual" game (oh no he used the word), oh man they just don't know what fun is. The wii is not for everyone, as my roommate found out, and neither is the 360 or ps3.

Now if someone criticizes earthbound that's another story

Fact: Earthbound is the greatest game ever made
