I dont know why i bought a Wii, my mom got a DS and it took 20% off the Wii so i thought why not. Big mistake.

We might respect you a little more if you bothered trying some of the games you listed (or even simple research on ones like Zack & Wiki) and perhaps if you at least put a small amount of effort in writing your posts.
I mean really, do you consider a game non-kiddy only if it has blood and gore?

What?
Fine, look, grab these games:
Resident Evil 4
Super Mario Galaxy
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
No More Heroes
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
These are already more games than you will reasonably be able to complete in any reasonable amount of time. Either actually look at the library or quit your trolling.
Yep scab I think you got the wrong console. I have a 360 and there are loads of good games. I wouldn't play one game that people have recommended in this thread. Go trade your Wii for a 360 you wont be dissapointed.

I got Brawl when it came out and haven't had a game for it since because the games are crap. There either 1. Multiplatform games but the versions always worse on Wii than PS3 or Xbox 360. 2. Kiddy exclusives, most of these Wii exclusives are just for little kids, looking at the popular Wii games on here you have Zack and Wiki, De Blob, Super Paper Mario, Opoona, MySims and the Mario games. 3. Things like Wii Fit, Wii Play Cooking Mama that are just challenges with no depth. Are there any Wii games out there that are exclusive, arnt childish, have a story and are good? Please recommend some. |
Answer to the title: because your very premises are flawed. Zack and Wiki, De Blob, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, Opoona, Mario Kart, Warioware, Animal Crossing, et al are very fun games. Ironically enough, by passing them up just because they can be enjoyed by young people as well, you're just being one of the 'kiddies' that you say they're best suited for.
That said, you should definitely check out Metroid Prime 3, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, Scarface, No More Heroes, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, Star Wars: Force Unleashed (best version by most accounts), and Shaun White's Snowboarding (best version by ALL accounts), for starters.
Here's a thread showcasing Wii's high volume of pwnsomeness for 2009

ARE YOU A SHILL
WOULD YOU AND SCABAB HAPPEN TO MABE BE THE SAME GUY
YOU ARE IMMENSELY SILLY
I'M NOT ACTUALLY YELLING I JUST HATE PRESSING CAPS LOCK TWICE
Super Mario Galaxy has some depth, although its a pretty predictable story.
Tales of Symphonia: DOTNW is excellent.
Ok so i had a quick look for Zack and Wiki on youtube, instead of having dialogue it makes a childish noise when your reading text, bright and cartoony with cutesy animals and Zack making silly faces.
?wow.

This is a silly and rediculous piece of advice to give. How do you know if he'll like the games on the 360?
He should just look into the Library of all the systems, look at what each system has to offer in terms of hardware and other non-gaming attributes, and decide from there.
He might even decide he doesn't want a console at the moment, and get one at a later time, or wait until the next generation altogether.
By the way scabab, once you've researched everything, an if you still want to sell your Wii, sell it on Ebay. You'll easily get someone to pay more than you originally bought it for, so you'd end up making money!
