Forums - General Discussion - The "Obama not a US citizen" case has been thrown out of court, case closed

Time to move on people.

small excerpt from the end

Berg says Obama also may be a citizen of Indonesia, where he lived as a boy. Federal courts in Pennsylvania have dismissed Berg's lawsuit. Federal courts in Ohio and Washington state have rejected similar lawsuits.

Allegations raised on the Internet say the birth certificate, showing that Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, is a fake.

But state officials in Hawaii say they checked health department records and have determined there's no doubt Obama was born in Hawaii.

The nonpartisan Web site Factcheck.org examined the original document and said it does have a raised seal and the usual evidence of a genuine document.

In addition, Factcheck.org reproduced an announcement of Obama's birth, including his parents' address in Honolulu, that was published in the Honolulu Advertiser on Aug. 13, 1961.

Of course he's a citizen, every state is to scared to prove that wrong because, he's the first black president after all!

It doesn't matter when he was born. Hawaii was already a state 2 years before then anyways.

How about the law suit in California?

Oh, and the issue is not just where he was born. It’s that he went to school in Indonesia. When he went to school, they did not allow dual citizenship, and only allowed citizens of Indonesia to go to school.
If he was legal there (could have not been), then he would have had to denounce his American citizenship.

If that were the case, he no longer qualifies to be president.

So now we have an article on CNN about it, one on MSNBC about it, 10’s of millions of people talking about it on the internet, and yet he does not produce the actual proof. Why?

You can’t say it’s just a fringe group of radicals who care about this anymore.

LEt's say tomorrow Barack comes out, claims to be a full-fledged Indonesian...what then? Does that destroy his capabilities as a president?

I don't really believe in the conspiracy theories but ... Even if you had conclusive proof that Obama was born outside of the United States there is no chance that any judge would question the legitimacy of his presidency now.

Something can't be proven wrong if its true. Time for conservatives to stop being sore losers and move on.
