This looks great! I'm starting to get into the Tales series. I'll keep a look out for those!

Those aren't really contradictions. It's hamfisted and clumsy, but the whole thing is just Mithos manipulating their expectations and emotions. Not a contradiction - just kind of silly, and playing with their emotions.

God that is cheesy though, ugh.

That dialogue

I'm dying

Oh yeah. I forgot that scene. Good times.

A lot of the plot holes with the half-elves were also amusing, albeit in more subtle ways.

Having played Phantasia way back when, I also enjoyed the irony of the overall plot

I personally hated the plot hole where in the Devil Arm's sidequest where Raine references someone from the past she knew that gave her that crown but then she goes "lol it's nothing" - I hate that. What other plot holes were there?

That wasn't so much a plot hole as a dangling reference. Presumably, he's the reason she can't approach the unicorn?

Anyhow, there are several I used to know, but the biggest one is that the entire Desian plot is meant to protect the half-elves from the elves and humans. And yet, in one of the worlds, they're always being openly oppressed by humans, with no interference from the all-powerful Mithos, despite the latter's supposed hatred of the situation (and proven ability to do something about it). His solution to the problem seems to be very...inefficient.

I was also annoyed by how there's not a single half-elf village in either world. Not a plot hole, but still odd. If they're all living with Mithos, then what's the problem? If they're not, where are they?

Going along with that, how many half-elves are there that aren't either Desian or Resistance? I think we meet a grand total of three, maybe four. So what's the fuss? And how did such a large Resistance come to form anyhow, if the Desians are so tight-knit? Plus, it's not like their "secret base" is hidden, by any means. The local town knows all about it!

This game will be awesome (just to be back on topic).

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

So the new Tales Wii shapes up to be Epic im looking forward to it.

Raine's a whore confirmed.

I'm going to assume Mithos didn't pay much attention to Tethe'alla because Zelos didn't even do his job, while Colette started right away and Mithos almost succeeded too. Mithos' primary goal was to make a new body for Martel, and Colette was perfected. They addressed the huge oppression in the game in Tethe'alla...but yeah it seems like a hole. Pronyma was in Tethe'alla though.

Half elves were in Welgaia lol. Also, IIRC they addressed at the end (well, Lloyd did) why can't they live sepatately from humans/elves...and I think Mithos said they would be oppressed anyway? Besides, humans/elves can always attack the village. His solution was to make everyone equal and send them to Welgaia.

But the Desians knew full well about the Renegades, I think they didn't appear like much of a threat so said whatever. Their goal was to get Colette pissed off and stuff to amplify angel affects.

I suppose that makes some sense (forgot about Pronyma, by the by. My bad). Still, it just seems so...convoluted.

Well, thanks for tying up some of the loose ends, anyway.

Well I'm pretty sure Vesperia is similar to ToS so as long as that's true I'm fine.

I'm happy since Vesperia is my 2nd favorite game of all time.....yes Symphonia went down to 3....

Former something....

Exire, anyone?

Yeah, I finally have a sig.

Is that what the floating village was called? I forgot about it until Soriku mentioned Pronyma (which I thought was what it was called).

Double my-bad!
