You can just ignore the score if it makes you feel better. Or round it to the nearest 20%- If a game gets 84%, pretend it's 4/5. Everyone's happy!

Doesn't work. Nobody gives 50-69% to an "average" game.

Scores are not absolute statements of value.

Scores can't be "accurate", they can only be specific. And specificity in qualitative statements in the arts is the enemy of discourse.
