wii60 because the PS3 experience is the same as the 360. You won't enjoy anything on the PS3 that you can't on the 360. On the wii, you can gather the whole family and friends to have some fun.

Buy a Wii, most PS3 games are on the 360 anyway.

On SD tv's you wont notice too much difference in graphics

The PS3 will have more price cuts in the next couple of years

The 5 wii games you mentioned are really good btw

Wii60 definitely, they give you totally different experiences where as the PS3 will give you a handful of games (eventually), but most of them are the same as a console you already own.

Get a Wii now and then look at a PS3 in 12 months or so if you still really want to play the PS3 exclusives. Some of them may even be released by then and the console should be cheaper too.

Never argue with idiots
They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience

Wii60 without a doubt, owning 2 HD consoles and no Wii is pretty pointless, especially because multiplats (i.e Tekken, FF13, RE, CoD etc etc) will be already available to you. Wii is a must have system, and hopefully next year we see a new Zelda/Mario etc.

Metacritic and Gamerankings are both aggregating sites. They have pretty much no quality filter. You're better off looking at a proper reviewer like IGN, or at a stretch, 1UP or GameSpot.

PS3 games look fine on an SDTV, but look MILES better on an HDTV.

Wii360PS3 owner weighing in. Consider a few things - with the Wii, if you own a Gamecube or liked GC games and not really into the current Wii lineup, you can mop up and play Wii games and GC games on your Wii. Plus, if you have friends over, it's a hit. The PS3 has Blu Ray and some good games, but the games aren't cheap, nor are Blu Rays.

Plus, as others have stated, owning 2 HD consoles is not a good thing at the moment. I bought a 360 first, a Wii, then a PS3.

I'd really recommend buying all 3. It happens faster for some than others, but in the end, you get to sample all the goodness about each console.

Simple: Wii60

If you have only a PS3 and a 360, the two systems will have *many* overlapping games.

If you have only a Wii and a 360, the two systems will have almost no overlapping games.

Wii60 = more games for you.

Get a Wii. The experience will be much different than your current experience on 360. If you bought a PS3, it would be a lot of the same thing.

That's all three if you couldn't figure it out.

I have a PS360. I was planning on going PSWii this generation, because PS2 and GC satisfied me last generation. Outside of DOA and Ninja Gaiden (couldn't be found on PC or PS2/GC), I had no interest in the original Xbox.

The PS3 exclusives, even though not in high quantity, have been my favorite gaming experiences this gen. Uncharted, Valkyria Chronicles, MGS4, Resistance 2, and Little Big Planet satisfied me as a gamer.

I'm waiting on the next Zelda or $150 for Wii, which ever comes first. It's been disappointing as a Nintendo console (puts flame suit on) in my experience, despite the popularity and hype.

Xbox 360 had a few RPGs I couldn't pass up, like ToV and Fable 2. Hopefully, SO4 will be good as well (from what I played at TGS, it should be good). I'm starting to buy more MP games for 360 now as well with the HDD install option. Before, I always got them for PS3 because I could stand the DVD drive noise on the 360. As for Gears and Halo, I don't care much for online shooters.

I'm PSP/DS/PS360. I'm sure I'll get a Wii sometime before the end of the generation, but it's fairly low on my list of priorities.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
