I haven't read all the pages, but is there any mention of the timing? Because if they only bring out 5 RPG's in the next 6 years, I doubt many will be happy >_>

Correctie nadien (nadat een member nergens het woord RPG zag staan).

Shuhei Yoshida - Names, no. But we have 5 projects underway inside of Sony that will cater to the fanbase you have described. We are also working with 3rd party to ensure we have those kinds of games coming in from their studios as well.

First of all type in English since no one, besides us Dutch native speakers, understands Dutch and second of all... read the very first sentence of that post.... the part of "role playing and strategy"... I'm on my PS3 now can't copy stuff. Someone else pointed that one out.

Your lack of Valkyria Chronicles is disturbing.

Maybe it's just me... but i've never considered SRPGS as RPGS.

Of course that does make classifing games like Fallout near impossible in my head.

Why didn't they ever make a D&D engine with the fallout engine.  Or... more then two games with it for that matter.

Well, a JRPG is just a Japanese made RPG, so as long as the game is being made in Japan. I think it classifies.

I've heard people say that.  I've also heard that JRPGS actually stand for a style of gameplay. 

IE if a studio in japan made Oblivion it would still be a WRPG, while if Final Fantasy 14 was subcontracted to a US developer it would still be a JRPG.

FFXIII is made by Square Enix, not Sony.

 Lol, a Gran Turismo RPG. That'd be something else.

 



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
