They should have put in Gears 2, Chains of Olympus and TWEWY instead of BioShock (again, amazing game, but 2007 game), NHL 09 and Braid.

Remember these aren't the Game of the Year nominees. Just the preliminary candidates. Not that I know the difference, mind you.

No not really. It shouldn't be on any game of the year lists............but it definitely should be sports game of the year..........if it isn't, then I will be pissed......FOR REAL!

BioShock is NOT another shooter. Clearly, you haven't played it.

No, the reason why I say BioShock is because it can't be in two GoTY awards, now can it? It has to win something, or they wouldn't have put it in this list, but the only thing it can win is PS3 game. But then they wouldn't have put MGS4 in the list and ARGH!

lol man this was a bad year for the Wii.

still, GTA4 shouldnt be on that list, and neither should dead space. MKWii is just better than dead space.
R2 shouldn't be there either, nor Braid

the gaming world is too HD biased. -_-
