i guess the question is, what resolution is normal film for a movie?

yeah, that is TRUE UHD.... obviously the problem with all of these formats is STORAGE. A blu-ray disc can only hold a few minutes of a UHD movie... LOL.

Apprently panasonic been working on there new lcds (saw a doco on tv about technology) it will have double the pixels it has now. so like a 2x1080p (2160p) native lol.

With new information, only one question lingers: Is it NOW possible that PS4 will be more powerful than PS3? I doubt it, but it makes you wonder :D

 Have you heard of HVD? Storage wouldn't be a problem.

Since 2540p is the new Hi def, are PS3/360 now deemed low def and Wii now deemed black and white?

 no 2540p is Ultra HD. Wii is still a standard def console and PS3/360 HD Consoles.

Right on the the 48inch part, wrong about the resolution. 2160p would be 4x the resolution. It would be roughly 2715x1527
