Forums - Gaming - ZOMG it's green and it has a power button, it must be a 360!

Try checking the reset button on PS3, it has almost the exact same symbol.

You know what im talking about.

uh oh, damage control again ? is it really a big deal if MGS4 goes multiplatform? does the fact that other people are enjoying the game damage your experience ?

what about the "i"

It's not MGS4, Lol.

And it's not damage control, just go look at the playstation reset symbol.

ZOMG it's brown and it stinks, it must be my shit!

Around the Network

It's a universal symbol. Everything from remote controls, to TVs to computers have it.

Oh wow! You want KH3 on PS3 too? Nice!

Not even going to bother arguing with you.

By all means, open yet another thread about it.

Many people associate the green lit circle with the 360 because its a common feature in ads and its a standout feature on the hardware. However this in no way confirms that the next Metal Gear is on 360 or PS3 or Wii or iPhone or DSi or PSP, it was just an association with the 360. Green lit circle - 360, thats all, just the association of the mind.

If I was Konami and I knew anything about marketing - they have succeeded in creating awareness - they have left alot to the imagination and if they were smart, they used the association of the mind. When I first saw it, I associated the i with the ii in Wii and the green circle as the 360 button. So sue me. Different people will have different associations. I didnt immediately think of the reset button on the PS3. If you did, then great.
