I got the red rings 'finally' and just reported it to Microsoft.

I guess they're gonna send me some kind of package to mail it in.

Worse timing ever? Both Bioshock and Blue Dragon are coming in the next few weeks and I probably won't have my 360 back by the time they are released.

Very lame. Especially bad because I've been on a bad luck streak lately, first my tv gets weird problems then my PC can't start windows and now the 360 is screwed for a few weeks.

Basically I'm limited to only the DS right now, cause the PS3 has to use the tv to work and that thing has a huge black bar on it which makes playing it very crappy.

Either I get a new HD TV sooner than I expected with what money I got saved or I basically play nothing except DS games for the rest of the month at least.

Every single video game store from best buy to gamestop to circuitcity that Ive been too have all there systems on besides the wii. But when I go to check out the 360 demo's its broken with 3 lights on the ring and its flashing in every store.

dag man cheer up your currently playing the best handheld on the market you should feel good about that....shouldnt u?? and the Xbox 360 had the 3 rings...lol...now thats crazy try to get the Elite my cousin bought his at the launch of the Elites and he had no problems up until this point....at least I hope so O_O

Big black bar on about 1/3 of the tv on the top side of the screen and it shows nothing except black.

So basically I can play games, just it's very inconveniant. Also I can't play any PS3 games that need to use the top part of the screen to be able to play. This is the reason I also let my cousin borrow my Wii because Wii games are also pretty crappy with this problem.

It makes me think. The 360 must have a special micro-chip called "Emotions Engine Enhanced" (No relation to the PS2) that has a connection to the internet and knows your playing habits as well as all of the upcoming games and also how popular they are. Based on that information, the chip will decide when the most inconvenient time to shut down the 360 and cause a disruption in your playing habits.

Anyway, that sucks. Sorry to hear that.

I feel your pain. Mine is out being repaired right now though it was the DVD and not the RROD. You'll probably get your coffin in about 3-5 days depending on where you live. I'm in Texas so it came quick and they got it back from me next day. They are quoting 4-6 weeks, but they told me it's really only taking about 7-10 business days as they are "catching up". One good thing, if you u can call it good, would be that when you do get it back it will have the most recent fixes and likely won't break again. I know it sucks because I'm going through Halo withdrawal right now. I picked up a Wii this weekend for my daughter so I've been playing that instead. I actually considered buying a used original XBOX off of craigslist for like 75 bucks to play Halo 1, 2, COD and a couple of other games on until my 360 came back. Then I was just going to put it on ebay or something when I got done with it...
