Forums - Sales Discussion - The Wii (as in tiny) game sales thread.

Alright. Update time.

I'm probably leaving off Hank Williams Pinball and Namco Meuseum as they've already proved their insane legability. We're leaving it up to the new guys now.

The Legend of Spyro - Dawn of the Dragon sees a post black friday drop in NA but is still pulling in significantly larger than opening numbers in NA and slightly better Euro numbers

Monster Lab: As it stands now, it look like this game isn't going to pull of the magic, as Black friday didn't raise it much. Hopefully this one can still pull it off though

Like Monster Lab, this game doesn't seem to really be catching on. But it's 4th week is still 3 times it's opening.

And that's all for now!

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Around the Network

The only problem I have with the numbers in this thread is that we really have nothing to compare them to in order to gauge their accuracy (unlike the top 10 or 20 games with NPD, etc). Being off by 50,000-100,000 or more in large games might not change the picture significantly but in games like this being off by much smaller numbers for a few weeks will completely change the picture.

Lets throw in Skate it

The game did open above ten thousand, and isn't seeing much growth yet, but I'm curious to see if this well reviewed and balance board friendly game will be able pick up some steam.

Hmm... i still want monster lab too... seems like it might hit the bargain bins early.

This is werid though.  Had even the PS2 have anything like this?

Yes.... even the PSP had plenty of these ;) Though the hight of sales where probably lower, small but extremly long legs are not unseen on any platform ;)
