COuldn't you just see one of the 20 movie adaptations.

 

It's for English class so the whole book thing is kind of important.  To it's credit, though, it really is one of the most masterfully written novels I've ever seen.  Jane Austen is a literary genius, regardless of your opinion of the subject of her books.

Oh, haha.  The other AP English IV teacher made them watch the 5 hour one.  Thankfully, ours just wants us to read and analyze it.
