GT5 and FFXIII should Keep them going in Japan and Europe. Now if only they had some big, Megaton game for the US They might have a chance at beating the 360 in 2009.

PS3 only needs a price cut to £225 in March to compete enough to survive until PS4.

True. But the decisions they make now will effect theif future profits.  That is why they are doing poorly at the moment. All the bone head mistakes of the past has caught up with Sony.  By continuing to lose market share to Nintendo and MS, Sony will be in a bad position in a year from now. They can of course make up ground, but the further behind they are the more difficult it will become, and the PS3 will end up being the least profitable of the 7th generation consoles.  This will make it more difficult for Sony to secure a strong position in the next generation.

GT5 is huge everywhere. So, it's more like:

NA: GT5

Europe: GT5

Japan: GT5, FF13.

 Indeed, it is huge everywhere, but in Europe it's really huge. Both GT5 prologue and GT4 sold twice as much in Europe then in America. So, while it will be able to push quite a few systems in Japan and America, It'll do wonders for Sony in Europe.

2009 is really their last chance and if they dont work hard, they will be finished.
Sony also needs to upgrade PSN to make it more interactive and make more features for PSN.

I also would definitely like to see a new XMB Cross Media Bar for the PS3. It could be something like the new dashboard on the 360 but better.
