Forums - General Discussion - Your top Anime opening

But seriously, this one...

Around the Network

Here's a non-metal one that I've been liking lately.  Toradora OP:

And the OP from the anime my avatar is from:

And I'll stop myself before I go OP crazy.

...

That Toradora op is addicting :) I haven't watched episode 7 yet :(

Kannagi - I also haven't watched episode 7 yet :(

^_^

Ah yeah....the Kannagi one is good too. Blade of the Immortal has a really cool OP that's really different.

...

Since I loved the moive so much I will post it's opeing song...I'm going to watch it in a few hours again...

Former something....

Around the Network

Hajime no Ippo

first op:

Second op:

Third Op:

Loved the first op, hated the second then grew to love it, hated the 3rd even more but then also grew to love it. It's my second fave anime.... 76 episodes of awesome!

4 ≈ One

There are two, and only two, truly great anime openings. Well, except for Tank. But that goes without saying, doesn't it?

More modern would be Busou Renkin, arguably the best shounen show ever:

The other would be... considerably more classic. Arguably the shounen archetype I guess:

So these are the best. There we go.

Either one of these 2:

Gundam Seed

or the Dragonball Z opening

Thats my favorite

And this might be what Torillian was looking for

Detroit Metal City( really interesting watch actually)

"The accumulated filth of all their sex and murders will foam up about their waist and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...

....and I'll look down and whisper  "no."

No one knows of this show! Such A great show...

I loved Special A, but I didn't feel like the OP was one of its strong points.

@Khuutra: I loved Busou Renkin.  It was one of the first not massively popular anime I ever watched.  OP was awesome too.

@Torillian: Toradora has one of my favorite OPs of this season.  The show itself is amazing.  It's got some of the best individual scenes ever (lamppost? the recent patio scene?)
