i own all 3 systems, but some things you saying about the ps3 isn't true. the install is not on most games. Uncharted, Rachet and Clank, Resitance 1 and 2, Motorstorm 1 and 2, Heavenly sword, The godfather the don edition, and Littlebigplanet have no installs. Playstation Home will have no more than 500MB of install data and thats bascially saved data. killzone 2 won't have installs. and 95% of multiplaform games don't have installs such as COD

the install is just a option for developers, most games on the ps3 don't use the install feature. as for the more promsing games on 360, this is not true, and to prove this here is a link to show im not bs you.

I have a PS3 and a Wii, and i could buy a 360, but despite my dislike of Microsoft is not what it made me not to buy a 360 this gen...

The reason is simple: All the multiplatforms are on the PS3 also, and the majority of 360 console exclusives are going to PC, and since i have a gaming rig, i take advantage of that, leaving only with a small bunch of exclusives (and some of them are going to PC later) and for that i have an agreement with a friend, he borrows my PS3 and i borrow his 360 when we want to play the other one's exclusives...

So i don't need the 3 of them because of my gaming rig and my agreement with a friend...

I have all three - for over a year now - and it's good whenever a sweet game hits for any system, I can play it. However, I started this gen with the 360 and it's still my console of choice. I got a Wii to flip and fell for it. I got the PS3 to review video games and because I wanted to find one with full BC. I have used the Wii some, the 360 most and the PS3 when my 360 wasn't working. However, the installs on the PS3 - and having to clear space for games - was sickening. I play Blu Rays on it and some games I review, but that's just my opinion.

Going into this gen, I was convinced the PS3 was going to decimate all. I had an Xbox and a PS2 last gen and thought MS wouldn't make it past 3rd. Things have really changed - but seriously, the Wii is so hot, it's not even funny.

I own all three and what ends up happening is I have the opportunity to truly cherry pick only the best software...

You only need 2 for the best experience.
A Wii and either a PS3/360. My choice would be PS3 but either is fine.

Owning both 360/PS3 is just dumb only the truly "hardcore" do that.=P

Rofl at Makingmusic banning himself. What's up with the mods and banning themselves? It's happened way too many times. Well, this is the second time I'm aware of it, but that's still way too many times for a mod to accidentally ban himself. :P

I think people should own whichever consoles are appealing to them, and within their budget range. There's no point in owning a system you won't enjoy.
