You are correct...I missed those, but I still think PS3 mayor problem is the price.

  I think quantity can very much be a bigger selling factor to the mainstream market then quality.

  I mean look at the PS2, that was flooded with alot of crap that we never heard about, but it was a large part of what sold ths system. Although terrble games may seem like absolutely nothing to 'us', they can be a system seller to someone else.

 Hell, my mate bought a Wii simply to play the new Harry Potter game, as I'm sure many other people did. the majority of people don't buy a game based on the fact IGN gave it 9.5 or whatever.

the only console that has any appeal to that demographic is the Wii (My Sims, Animal Crossing, WarioWare, Boogie, all the Petz games etc).

Personnaly, I think Wii line-up is the worst cause if u take the WW most wanted game on internet,
I presume 8 are coming to PS3 and/or Xbox360
2 are coming to Wii

 it reminds me of the PS 1 and 2 ... gazilion number of title and not 10% worth buying.... (i don't try to get in a flame here, just pointing the fact that sony was already braggibg about there line up quantity and a lot of titles were just not worth buying)

 and I think PS3 and xbox360 miss the none shoter fan, but that is only me. Ipersonally doesn't think Nintendo needs any 3rd party support to win this holiday but of course Wii Sport alone will garante that.

We're talking about THIS FALL/WINTER, try to keep up... And I agree the Wii will get more support but I also see the 360 and PS3 getting lots of support as well, I mean many of the games I've seen announced in the past few weeks for 2008/2009 have been 360 and PS3 ones so it's not like third parties are going to drop those consoles.

Honestly, the most I see PE PS3 selling is 500k. Very few PS3s...
People paying $600 to play soccer when they can pay $150? I seriously don`t think so.

Hmm, good point. I guess the only way to tell who has the best line up is when all of this is over...at least til next X-mas anyway.

This is how threads have sounded for such a long time, and people making posts in them are CONTINUALLY being proven wrong.

Sorry but 'sales potential' wise the Wii has the strongest lineup for the rest of this year, it has absolute quality titles backed up with a fuck ton of casual games, plus it is riding on the top of its wave STILL. If anyone thinks the Wii isn't going to murder this Christmas anymore then they are mistaken.

The games that are coming out for PS3 and Xbox 360 all only cater for a very closed demographic. Apart from Guitar Hero and Singstar it is all for hardcore gamers and it's not going to cut it. Guitar Hero 3 is coming to Wii also and Singstar is coming out on a console that is far to expensive to appeal to 'non-gamers'.

I can't believe how little so many people in this thread understand why sales are the way they are and that they can't see how much Nintendo is going to freakin OWN this christmas.
