As long as good games keep coming, I won't care very much about sales. Heck, GC is still my favorite console and perhaps that will just change when I buy a PS3 :D

but I still enjoyed my PS3 too
can't wait for the up coming games like WKC, KZ2, Yakuza 3, GOW 2 and many.

Well I've had a PS3 for 3 days and so far when I play it I don't even think about sales numbers and I friggin enjoy it. Not as much as the 360 but nevertheless I still love. Definately deserves better than the Wii but what can we do?

i believe its to early to call 2nd and 3rd place. wait till january 1 2010 then we can resume the conversation. i think the 360 is at its peak. who knows when the wii is going to finally going go downhill. i still believe that the PS3 has 2 more years to reach either peak or just to go downhill.

^ agreed about the first part. But I don't see Wii going downhill unless they release Wii 2 very early. IMO both Wii and PS3 will have their peak in 2010, X360 probably this year.

I think the 360 will get even better sales numbers for 2009. It may even outsell the PS3 in 2009 because of the price difference.

I didn't buy my PS3 to give it a "vote" for first place. I bought it for Bluray and some games. I've been enjoying it since day one. If it has product that you like from day one and has more coming, then why would anyone care if others buy it?

Ok, if PS3 owners accept that they're 3rd then 360 owners should accept that they're 2nd... Because if the PS3 can't pass the 360 then the 360 can't pass the Wii either...

And what about PS3 owners who also have a Wii (like me) or a 360, or all of them? what do we have to accept??

The thing is, why are we called to accept things like that??? we are not competing in this race, the companies are (unless someone is betting with it, and the bet is about accumulated sales as of this day), this has nothing to do with enjoying a console, i have enjoyed the PS3 and the Wii since day one, and i know a lot of Wii owners that got sick of it and sold it and bought an HD console instead, and i know people that bought a 360 and moved to a PS3 and viceversa...

Simple, if a person doesn't enjoy a console because it's 2nd or 3rd then he is an absolute poser...
