Why is AC at 350k on this one?

Damn, the Wii is severly down in comparison to last year. It was selling more than 50k, now just 35k. And even last year this week, the Wii didn't see any big releases. It had received SMG 4 weeks before. Now with AC:CF out, it only manages 35k.
Very terrible IMO. Nintendo needs to do something about this, but as they had already announced their whole 2009 releas schedule and no one seems interested in any of those games, 2009 is going to be the worst year ever for the Wii in Japan in terms of sales.
I honestly can't see any game selling well with the exception of Wii Sports Resort in 2009. The rest of the Nintendo published games are just too niche for the Japanese gamers, they won't even break 100k.

PS3 was at 55,368 last year, Wii at 50,934 and XBOX360 at 6,652
The only console that has increased its sales is the XBOX360 but just 10k. But what can we do? Forcing japanese to buy consoles instead of handhelds?
@alfredo: You just proved my point. If 360 actually saw an increase and Wii sales saw a decrease, it means people are losing interest on the Wii and gaining interest on the 360.
Even if the Wii still outsells the 360, MS is doing something right in order to get their console see an increase in the middle of this alledged economic crisis. Nintendo on the other hand, is watching how Wii sales are going down YoY, even in the week when one of their biggest games this gen gets released. Not even Wii Music is doing good, it's already out of the top 20 and even below MKWii.

that is ridiculous, wii sales were down before the 360 started selling better, and even though 360 sales are up it is a very insignificant amount, it is only significant for the 360 because the sales were beyond horrible before that.

@jhon: That means there's no excuse for the Wii performing worse if one of their competitors are seeing a very healthy increase. If 360 sales are up, so can the Wii sales. It's just a matter of SW really.
