It's a matter of perspective and definitions ...

If artistic merit is part of the equation (and it is not simply a matter of pure processing power) then there are certainly games on the Wii that are far better than a lot of games on the XBox 360 or PS3 ...

Even when you look at technical terms, games like Peter Jackson's King Kong and Gun were slagged in reviews for looking worse than the XBox version; on top of that many of EA's early sporting efforts were full of many distracting and ugly graphical glitches which make the games quite ugly when they're in motion.

Wii sports is horrible? Wii sports has really nicely done graphics, they're just not groundbreaking. Id rather have a game like Wii Sports come out more often than something with mindboggling graphics that has to have 8 figures spent on it and takes 30 hours to render each frame.

Back to the thread... Theres a game on the PS3 Ive played, I cant recall the name and I dont want to, its an uber bland car game where you drive around with guns on the car or a big spike (genius) or stuff like that. Anyway the game was hideous, but the graphics were fairly bad too. Worse than a Wii IIRC, though in fairness maybe it was the atrocious gameplay clouding my memory.

Whether there is or isn't one now, eventually there will be some Wii game that looks better than some PS3 game or some 360 game. It would be foolish to suggest that this is impossible.

It's odd that people are talking about good looking Wii games and nobody has mentioned Super Paper Mario; the most beautiful game on the Wii.

In all honesty, if you want to find better games graphically (not stylistically) on the Wii you're going to have to look at the best Wii games and the worst of the other two.

 I was going to ask the same thing.

 It sure does look like the wii is coming close to the power of the 360/PS3, these are all ingame.
