Advises to any Wii gamer: Must-Buys ----> Zelda, Super Paper Mario, WiiPlay if you have friends to play with, Strikers. I think TC should be one, but with an improved sequel coming soon, it would be too hold for it.

Good games, worthy for $40 or less:

Excite Truck
Cooking Mama ( about 10 friends have played it, and it is the favorite Wii game of many. And it hooks girls too >_

And Red Steel wasn`t that bad, I actually liked it when I understood the controls. Multiplayer is pretty fun too. Of course, it isn`t worth $50. The sequel should fix everything the 1st game lacked, add an online mode, and I think Ubi have another million seller. Wait until it is released for FPS on Wii ( though MoH may change that if it is good)

I'm in the middle of score for Red Steel's single player. It was a bit unpolished and had some glitches.(Stupid boxes that I could fall into but not get back out of), but the multiplayer can be pretty fun. I also support you getting Strikers Charged. Hopefully then we could play a few games.
