You are the only one Torillian. I own Eternal Sonata and it is not great. It's probably one of if not the least favorite JRPG in my 360 library.

I"m becoming less and less hopeful that FF XIII will be good. SE has really gone downhill fast.

S-E are not going downhill. They were just forced to rush some of their games out before they can be properly polished. S-E aren't going to let that happen FFXIII and SO:TLH
Square Enix went downhill a long time ago. They've become more an EA of Japan.

I just saw the special edition with Graphic novel for $20. I wonder if it's worth getting.

Microsoft are to blame here for the rushed condition of IU and TLR. They made tri-Ace and S-E rush them out to retail before they were ready which is why they are both a technical mess. SO:TLH on the other hand, looks very polished already even though it doesn't come out for 3 months. It seems that Microsoft aren't pressuring S-E to release SO:TLH this year. In fact, I wouldn't besuprised if the game itself was already finished and is up to the "polishing/bug testing" part that IU and TLR were rushed through. Can you honestly say that it is flop after flop? The only true flops in JRPGs seem to be IU and TLR as well as a bunch of niche games that only a small group of gamers give a damn about. Many of the other high profile JRPGs aren't quite as bad.

@Bolded- Lol thats true, if MS were not such greedy pigs in terms of trying to gain power with JRPG's then these games could have been better.
Which is why Sony does not do such things, they give the devs there time, which is why games like Killzone 2, White Knight AND POSSIBLEY Versus XIII may turn out to be great or as IGN would call it "Masterful" so yeah, pretty much M$ just Reaped what they sowed plain and simple.
But since Regular XIII is multi-platform for USA/EU that game might flop for both EU and USA Yet be Awesome in japan since they got the game exclusive issue-free, sad but true.

So Tales of Vesperia is still the only 360 JRPG that i want... Well, The Last Remnant is still going to PC, so i think that there the FR issues will be gone, at least with my rig (Unless TLR is the new Crysis, then medium settings for me jejeje)...

I disagree with this based on the idea that your statement leads to your saying Eternal Sonata is "great" which I vehemently disagree with.
