yeah motion + will be what we've all been waiting for, but the wii is the same for me now, it's so hard to pick up and play after I've been playing it for so long and all the motions are the same, foward, back, rotate this way, rotate that way... blahhh I just cant do it any more! Party games rock on wii though, I must say that, especially wario ware, thoes graphics suck but work for the game, but now that we have amazing adventure games and racing games with sweet graphics on the 360 for a budget price (comparing graphic bang for buck) whats really the point of playing these games on the wii with motion controles that hardly do the game the justice that impressive graphics do.

Unfortunately, selling for a loss isn't Nintendo's model.

- Wii was initially valued at half the price of HD gaming consoles and now that HD gaming is cheaper the wii still costs the same. This says that Nintendo’s lacklustre motion experience is worth more then the awesome HD graphics experience, which is blasphemy!

Are you very, very dumb? The price has not dropped because the demand for the Wii is massive. And that's the only thing it tells us. The demand for Wii is much higher than the demand for HD consoles.

- The Wii literally is offering last generation games with updated controls for a price more expensive then current generation HD gaming!!!!

- It’s not really an argument over next gen or last gen it’s an argument over being made to pay more for what we payed less for a few years ago just because it has ‘motion’ in it.

Again, the Wii games are not more expensive than the HD games, they are cheaper.

- I’m not hating on Nintendo, I still love their games and their systems and I will never stop buying them, and truth be told I will pay $100AUS for the next Zelda game or what ever good games they bring out even if their experience isnt as good as a HD one because I’m a slave! Funny, I have my 360 for 3 days now and I must say I don't really share your thoughts.

For one I wasn't blown away by the graphics (and yes I play on a HDTV). I liked them, and sure they are better than Wii's, but not enough to warrant the massive "Wii graphics suck" meme that's always around. I'm not that much of a graphics person I guess. I play a lot of DS and love my SNES games still.

Secondly I was playing Mass Effect. Truely awesome game, except for the frigging dual analog shooting. I absolutely hate the irresponsiveness. It really kinda ruins the experience after RE4Wii and Metroid 3.

I think Wii is worth $250. And masses of people think that. That's the only thing that matters. Whether Wii is better/worse than 360 or PS3 is up to anyone personally. I love the Wii for many reasons (Virtual Console is an important one) and I don't think my newly aqcuired 360 will change that (both have tremendous competition from the DS though).

I'll use my 360 for some of my favorite franchises, like RE5, Final Fantasy and Beyond Good and Evil, but Wii can give me lightgun shooters, point & click and snowboarding on a Balance Board. For me that alone makes the Wii a worthy purchase for every gamer, despite it being more expensive than 360.

Do you understand that X360 is slashing prices like theres no tomorrow, just so that people like you , who think about every dollar spent, feel that its the best choice. Go buy a PS3, and your economic gaming goes down the shitter. now if you value HD graphics in a game more than Motion control(which i dont, anyways, cause i see better graphics on my PC), you shouldve decided earlier that you were gonna ditch Ninty for MS or Sony this gen, and saved yourself all the pain.

And believe me, Assassin's Creed has some of the least impressive graphics I have seen this gen. That's not to say they're bad, just that they don't compare to a lot of games on the PS360.

If you think AC looks amazing, try Gears of War. Or GeOW 2.

I borrowed my friends 360 for a cuple of months, and i wasn't blown away by the graphics and yes i have a HDTV also. Putting aside the fact im a nintendo fanboy the 360 does offer you more mature range of games, but im playing MP3 now and the controls work so much better than any dual analogue control system.

 Nice to see that not all people consider graphic to be the most important factor with games. I totally agree with you, nice graphic can be a huge plus for a game (for exemple Super Mario Galaxy, which proves that Wii can also deliver graphically), but other factors such as controls, gameplay, structure of the game, the funfactor are totally superior in my opinion.

These factors are where Nintendo shines and always has. In my opinion you cannot find the "nintendomagic" in other games, as simple as that. I also love VC, best thing Nintendo has ever done and my main reason for buying Wii since I´ve (regretfully) sold my NES, SNES, N64.
