The newest issue of the British magazine EDGE is in stores as of today and its always interesting to see which games were reviewed and what scores they got. This month some interesting titles have been reviewed, such as: Blue Dragon, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Transformers and GRAW2 for the PS3.

Apparently EDGE didn't really like Transformers and Hour of Victory as both games got 2/10 from EDGE. The British don't really like Blue Dragon and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 as well as both games 'only' got 6/10. Zelda: Phantom Hourglass did really well as it scored 9/10. They are tough reviewers for sure.

But Transformers and Hour of Victory deserve those scores lol

I don't have a problem with the low scores, but:
-how can GRAW2 and Blue Dragon be the same score as Tenchu Z (6)?
-how can Transformers be the same score as Hour of Victory (2)?

Those 22 points should be distributed GRAW2 7.5, Blue Dragon 6.5, Tenchu Z 4, Transformers 3, Hour of Victory 1 (at least the game disc won't cause any permanent damage to your console).

Yes I agree with Sinha. There is no way in hell that Blue Dragon and GRAW 2 are equal in any way shape or form to Tenchu Z which is a total turd with some of the worse AI this generation.

The zombies in Dead Rising had beeter AI than the Tenchu enemies, also the game looks like a PS2 game on the 360, so no points for looks either....

Hour of Victory should get a zero.

Typical EDGE. Some spot on, some way off. For Ninty stuff, I have found that my opinion/scores agrees almost completely with IGN these days - so I pay them a lot of attention (can't comment too much on stuff I haven't owned/played).

(last time I remember IGN going off the rails was Mario Kart:Double Dash - 7 I think. I thought similarly at first, but ended up loving it to death after a while - 8.5/9 for me).

Anyway... I completely agree that Blue Dragon != Tenchu Z in any way.

EGM gave Blue Dragon lower scores than Edge. So EGM is tougher.

BTW, whatever happened to the phantom Lair 9 in Edge I keep hearing about LOL? Looks like somebody made that up. 

Drugs are bad! How does GRAW 2 and Blue Dragon share the same score as Tenchu Z? o_O

Odin Sphere is deserves WAY better than a 6!!
