Black Friday doesn't really exist anywhere else, so I assumed it was just North America. It's a little bit of a trick question, isn't it, Legend? Sort of like the question: Is Bodhesatva awesome, or really awesome? You ask: Will the 360 beat the PS3, or destroy the PS3? I agree that the 360 will likely handily outsell the PS3 on Black Friday, and leave it at that.

The US gap for black friday will be 2:1.

It may actually grow further for december when the casual buying kicks into high gear and the undiscounted price will be a major factor. A 2.5:1 in December is a possiblity.

In "Others" we'll see a 1.5:1 ratio through the holidays and in Japan about a 1:1 from now till the end of the year.

All together I think the ratio will be around 1.65:1 for the 360.

Prediction made on 11/1/2008:

Q4 2008: 27M xbox LTD, 20M PS3 LTD . 2009 sales: 11M xbox, 9M PS3
