    @rafichamp:This is a pretty nutty prediction.By the fall the gap between the PS3 and the 360 will be 9M-10M units based on the current rates.And somehow, just by a modest price cut of $50 the PS3 will close the 10M units gap to 5M units withing 3 months?The PS3 will have to sell about 9M units during those 3 months to do it. I.e. about 3.5 times more than it sold last year during the same period....

    Why all the NPD hate here? Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft all consider the NPD numbers as a very accurate. And they know as they have their own internal shipping numbers and channel inputs to correlate with.
