Probably this is due to the abysmal sales of Brothers In Arms DS. Too bad it was a fine game.. And ckmlb, didn't we said in another thread that Medal Of Honour Wii has the on-rails as an OPTION and you can play it as a normal FPS? Why are you still pissed about that? |
Some people aren't above using false jabs knowing they will rile up the blood of those who know they're bullshiting. Maybe this whole thread was a passive agressive jab at the Wii. Maybe something bad happened to Sony or something good happened for the 360/Wii (360 price cut) that there needs to be some venting so this thread was made as a Nintendo punching bag of sorts.
On Topic: Ubisoft is perhaps one of the most mediocre and unremarkable game developers i can think of, their games for the most part are flavorless with only a precious few exceptions and never consistant in quality. Their business ethics are dubious at best and they're notorious for saying one thing than doing another. Since their games don't really appeal strongly to anyone demographic they're kind of like this "taint" company that really has no place in the market, doesn't do anything well enough to be considered a jack of any trade and for the most part is a phenomenon of the gaming world that has to be dismissed on frequent occassions by Ninty, MS and Sony gamers any given time they fuck up a game or screw over a console. The only thing they've managed to really do worth noting was making WWII games their own genre. Congrats, because that war didn't get old after the fifth time they re-ran Band of Brothers on the History Channel...

Things that have changed since the last Generation of Gaming:
- Nintendo has shown us you can have the best selling console of all time with virtually no games for it.
- Graphics suddenly matter to Sony fans but Reverse Compatibility and Dual shock oddly enough don’t.
- Kiddy Crap is trendy with Hardcore gamers now that it’s no longer Nintendo’s “thing” (Viva Piñata, Little Big Planet, Banjo Kazooie 3, LBP)
- Third Party Developers are now essentially the equivalent of Video Game street pimps.
- Gimmicks are no longer fads (Wii-mote)... Well, not all Gimmicks (PS-Eye)
