Forums - Microsoft - What games do you plan to buy in 2009 for xbox 360 ?

labwarrior's quotes about the ps3 games, 3 of the 5 games are 1st party. the other 2 games ff13v and mgs4 are 3rd party games. and about mass effect2, if i remember correctly. ea and m$, signed a deal where ea gets the publishing rights to the mass effect series and in return m$ gets to keep the mass effect series only on the 360 on the console side. but as we have learned this gen, everything can change. if it does change i would think it wouldnt be released on the ps3 for a year.

Gearbox is cooking something up as well. Lionhead is rumored to have BC still in the works as well. Bungie has stuff cooking up, though that is probably 2010. Rare has stuff coming as well.

borderlands?

If so, I want that game also. over 100,000 weapon combinations. And supposed excellent vehicle integration.

Nah, they have some big big project in the works that they are not allowed to talk about yet.  But Borderlands does looks pretty fun.

Race Pro is my most awaited title in 2009.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

well 2008 360 releases were a bit bald, only gears 2 and fable 2 stand out. il end up buying them later on.

going into 2009, i feel 360 wont have that many games, but il surely check out forza 2 it should make it for 2009. also splinter cell is one of my fave games, to bad they cocked up the previous splinter cell, the jhon brown missions were awful and the trust metere killed the game for me.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake, the only 2 thing keeping me from selling my 360 and buying a PS3.

I can't wait until Microsoft does what they do every year, announce new titles/surprises and release them in the same year. ;)

Microsoft already said they have plenty of surprises in store for us for '09 that nobody knows about, and with the plethora of games already announced I know it's going to be yet another good year to own a 360.

For me 360 seems to have far more games in 2009 TBH than 2008

For starters has an avalance of WRPG's, far more than 2008, and more important JRPG's like SO4 and FF13

In shooters it has Warhound, but i agree is a bit weaker

As for strategy titles, KUF2 destroys anything in 2008 and Alan Wake is another plus sicne 2008 had no adventures for 360

Generally 2009 seems like a far more huge year, with more huge games already
