Halo is the most overrated, derivative franchise in recent memory, yet touted as some amazing feat in the gaming industry. It deserves the ire of gamers around the world

man i would put zelda there, or maybe cod series, both above halo in my book for overrated, and derivative. 

 

Zelda INVENTED its genre, how is that derivative?  Halo is just another shooter with really nothing new brought to the table.  Its been done a million times before, and much better as well.
