I read this preview, what do you guys think of it?

 

"Killzone 2 wont be as good as h3 it doesnt have a story line that is that good the first killzone was an alright game but halo was better than it with an awsome storyline and the graphics are going to be around the same as halo 3 and doesn't even compare to the multiplayer of halo 3 or even halo 2 this is definatly a good game but its not even close to halo 3 even call of duty 4 is going to be better that killzone 2 and its not even an exclusive game which makes killzone 2 a huge disapointment and i was disapointed at the e3 07 demo but they didn't show good enough gameplay because the game gameplay is just like the original killzone and it wasnt even a real time demo it was a put together demo of part of a level so my moneys with halo 3 on call of duty 4 modern warfare"

Oh my god....

I just realized that one random, radical fanboy is representative of the entire 360 fanbase.

I guess that from this, we can extrapolate that every PS3 fan is Washimule.

Personnaly I m more worried aoubt H3 that will be released in the same time of a lot of FPS, and, I believe, will not the better FPS this winter...

Killzone2 will come in early 2008, and I dont think there will be strong competitor in the same period.

Time to Work !

To be honest I doubt too many 360 fans even care about Killzone 2 judging be the complete lack of posting on it in the Microsoft forum or elsewhere. I mean the 360 has more than enough FPS on the system already and big ones coming soon. I honestly think the only people who care about it are Sony fanboys who feel like they have something to prove with the game and desperately want something that will be a "Halo Killer".

What's really going to suck is the realization that the hype SURROUNDING Halo 3 is actually much more fantastic and noteworthy than the actual game itself.

It's like democrat candidates for president. They all sound really good on paper and the initial WOW factor of something "re-envisioned" sounds totally stellar but then you elect them and then that sad sinking of realizing that you just got "what you had already but in a much shiner package"

Edit: I would just like to say that Halo 3 will NOT suck by any means. I'm just saying that considering the hype that is building up to it the game has a HUGE hill to climb over to either be AS good as they say or better.

Seeing as Halo 3 and Killzone 2 are on different consoles, I don't think they can really directly compete with each other in the way many people seem to do.

Now, did you really mean Gamestop? Or could you have ment Gamespot? If you really did mean Gamestop, then it's pointless to really look into it as the gamestop preview/review sections for their games usually becomes a crapping fest for some people.

hum i'm pretty sure I read that one on gamespot.....

then again i would compare killzone more to a gow than to halo 3.... and the sales for halo 3 are guaranteed they have already 6 million pre order... So even with other FPS this winter... and even if they happen to be better.. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the best seller anyway....

and how can you judge a game which is not out anyway..... (i'm talking about KZ2) that guy is a troller.... KZ2 can be a disappointment like the first one or blockbuster like gow..... only the time will tell us the truth :)... i hope for the PS3 owner that it will be a great game....

I'm not sure it is going to be that surrealist a the end...we'll see I was afraid for a while but now I have faith again in MS and bun.... and on the pecs of what I have seen it's already on top of it..... looks doesn't mean the specs are not higher than a better looking game.... it's harder to make a good looking halo than a gow for many reasons... so yeah now I think they are going to achieve what they expected to achieve... now will it be accommodating to the consumer tastes is another question
