Why did you even buy it int the first place? From the way you are acting, it seems like you don't care about the exclusives at all, which is the main thing separating the PS3 and the 360.

I bought it thinking it would be a nice addition to my 360.

I thought the PS3 would become the next PS2.

I love the hardware in my PS3, I do.
It's very well build.

Sadly, my PS3 seems lonely in my living room, everyone keeps ignoring it.
And with the sales trend... I don't think my PS3 will get Dev's attention in the future.

I think its pretty obvious that neither 360 nor PS3 is going to lose support from devs now.  The message from the WW market is clear:

a) for highest sales go multiplatform and release at same time unless you are a really, really good shooter in which case you can just go with 360 and ask MS for moolah

b) do not go timed exclusive for 360 unless you're getting well paid by MS as you will not sell well releasing on PS3 12 months later

c) do not 'pull an EA' and have the PS3 version undercooked - you will suffer in sales

d) do not go exclusive on PS3 unless you're getting paid or really, really need a lot of uncompressed content  on one disk

e) if your game is going to have a high shooting/graphics focus don't bother with a poor Wii port

f) unless you're lucky (Assassin's Creed) a short SP new IP game with no MP is likely to undersell

g) don't develop for the Wii unless you 'Get it' or it involves cooking animals

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

But he already has an X360. He will get almost no good exclusive Ps3 games. And as the Ps360 is now getting a bigger library than any normal man could buy and play, he won't miss them that much.

Well, if a dev is owned by a company then they have no choice but to make games exclusive.

Okay, I know you mean third-parties. Maybe that's why Konami should release MSG4 on the 360. Square-Enix should push for FFXIII to be released in Japan on the 360 as well. Better sales for them.

I agree. I'm mystified as to why MGS4 is still PS3 exclusive apart from the uncompressed content argument from the designer (hence my little dig).  OF course 1st part will be exclusive, as you say I'm only talking third party.

@Oyvoyvoyv

I'm not saying he needs more than a 360, I'm just pointing out the old argument about losing dev support is redundant.  The bottom line is that its unlikely anything other than exclusives are now going to seperate the two, and unless you need all the games you only need one or the other depending upon which appeals more to you.  The PS3 isn't going to lose support now, he's just going to have most games be available on both which is a different argument.

Ahh, my mistake. I re-read it, and it meant something totally different than what I thought. Sorry.
