True, but have u not heard all of the people that have played the KZ2 beta? It's all positive, not just on graphics but on gameplay as well. Just ask our favorite (Sony's) mod, MakingMusic

Yes but there is more to a game than an online multiplayer... at least I'd hope our generation still thinks that.  People make good online games all the time so that's not something I dig to deep into.  System for that has been set up numerous times for KZ2 to implement.  I wonder how it'll take this into the singleplayer. 

More than likely it'll just be another shooter which if fine because it'll have the other aspects to clean it up, but I'm hoping for something a little more.  But seeing the first title that's doubtful.

yea I know wat u mean, Im kinda disappointed that thats how it is nowadays, ppl only care about online multiplayer. With that said, from what I have read up on the campaign, its good, it is like COD4 which for me is good. Anyways, I just think that if the online multiplayer is good (the gameplay) then the gameplay of the campaign will be good. Hopefully the story doesnt suck and we get some cool boss/war fights.

aarrrrggg...this game will turn me into a FPS freak!....wait, even worse..this game will turn me into a high-end tech whore! I won't be able to look at "lesser" games without chagrin or disdain.

Did you notice the three articles of Killzone 2 impressions in the News section? The beta? There's a little more than trailers and videos.

 

True.  Though the hype started long before the Beta.

Every once in a while you can actually be right when you hype something up before having any impressions of what's important... but it's still not a good idea.

 Ok, so the graphics are amazing. Obviously. Also, every impression from the beta has been that it's amazing fun. Also, the game has had impressive trailer after impressive trailer and in hands demonstrations that have gotten great feedback also. So what exactly are you going on about? Sure, you can have  your opinion but it seems to me that your just digging and grasping for something negative about the game but can't quite find it so you end generalizing it and saying it will probably be just another shooter, but why? And I think if 007 had graphics like this and everyone hyped it you would do the same exact thing to that game. Where's the justice in that?

So it's ok if people hype a game beyond belief with no backing but questioning a game with some reasoning is to be looked down upon.  Oh what a chaotic world we live in.

Yes well gameplay is more than just controls but styles of the gameplay.  Hard to tell that from videos of course so I guess my concern doesn't come from that.  I guess it's just hard for me to buy into the hype after the first one.  I think that's fair.  Took me awhile to buy into Gears 2 after Gears 1.  Hell and I've already acknowledged The Conduit as being just a run of the mill shooter but getting that because Wii and online shooters are not plentiful.  So people don't think I'm doing this just because its on PS3.  I usually do this with just shooters because they get the most leniency.
