^probably. PS2 was at 35% LTD sales at the end of its third year. But actually Wii might see a sharp decline with the launch of its sucessor.

Ok I will create a thread with my question cause nobody seems to answer it...
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

First and most important, speaking of the truth makes you a fanboy, ok. Second dont get upset, this is the internet, atleast try to hide ur fanboyism. Third, consoles are not cars. Cars are bought by Men, consoles are mostly bought by kids. For a little kid aged 10-17 £110 are a lot of money. As for a £170 PS3 i know it would kill Sony, thats why it will never happen.

First, Speaking the truth does not make you a fanboy but making the situation the console you support is in look much better by imagining if it cost an unrealistic price is fanboyism. The Wii cost £180, Premium cost £170 and PS3 cost £280. Accept it. Why is it only Sony fans that keep going on about imagine if the PS3 cost this and that?
Secondly, if you think I am a 360 fanboy you couldn't be further from the truth. I have Nintendo running through my blood.
And I used cars as an example to illustrate the fact that people would generally go for the better value even if it costs slightly more. I also used it to show how even a huge difference of £5,000 doesn't affect that. If you prefer I can use the example of why album sales are always higher than sales of singles. People would rather pay £10 for an album with 15 songs than pay £2 for just one song. Children buy cds don't they? Is that a better example for you? Or an example even closer to home - the reason why the Premium sells more than the Arcade. Because people would generally rather pay the extra £40 for the Premium than get the Arcade.

wait what? lol? r u serious PS3 is going to outsell the 360 in Japan by 5m in the next few years? idk if the PS3 will sell 5m more consles in japan in the next few years. and if they do that, it would mean the 360 would sell horrable over there for the next few year. But atm 360 is winning in Others(much bigger market) and in the US they have been beating it for a while(much bigger market). and even if they somehow still managed to do this 360 would have like a 800k lead? so your thoughts make no sence at all...
Let's assume the 360 will reach 1,5 million LTD in Japan, the PS3 needs to sell 8,2 million units in Japan only.
But only when the 2 consoles will sell the same amount of units in NA and Others.
wow, bunch of haters on here. Yes it will be a hard battle, but i think the ps3 will eventually pass or close the gap. Only because of worldwide sales. Here in America the xbox360 will reign supreme. Which is a damn shame. Proud owner of both tho.
Between White Knight Chronicles, Yakuza 3, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Gran Turismo 5 all being exclusive to PS3, I could easily see PS3 selling a good 3 million more in Japan than the 360 over the next year or so.

Pointless thread. If you want to have this discussion then you need to put the effort into the OP. If every random thought of every member resulted in a thread such as this the site would be overrun with worthless threads.
@everstar, those games are big hits, in japan. So i will agree with seihyouken. Japan will have a factor in the ps3 moving up.
