I would've gone with Gears 2 overall or LBP for its physcis. I don't find GTA IV to be technically impressive at all.

Now if you talk about software development achievement, that might be different. Although i would love to see the control algorythms for WiiFit.

only if you believe that half hearted motion control is an advancement. honestly i put the wiis current motion control below the superscope six in terms of innovation. that might change with motion plus which should have been included since launch. still better than six axis which is on the par of the unfortunalty rushed to the market virtual boy.... (I still loved the virtual boy such missed potential.... sigh years ahead in terms of ideas to what tech had available)

as for the best technical display this generation, the forge for halo 3, but only the forge.... LBP, both offered user modded content creation which is a very nice step.  for the wii, wii fit, because of the sensing capacities of wii fit
