So my campus (a very tech heavy school) looks like it has been bombed. All my friends on steam are showing up playing WoW or not at all. My MSN is empty almost 24/7. It's just like good ol' Penny Arcade put it ( http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/11/17/) So I feel like there might be room for dicussion on here, if anyone that's playing actaully logs off or even alt tabs to check this out.

So then, do you play? What server are you on? Class? Do you have long Queues? Did something awesome happen to you while playing? Any good stories? How do you like WOTLK so far? Just discuss, I'll start.

I'm already level 76 and 4 bubbles away from being able to fly, no good stories, but the wrathgate quest is far far more epic than anything done so far in WoW and far better than any youtube videos you may have seen. If WoW had about 50 more of these types of quests/cut-scenes/world effects, then the game would have been truly epic and I wouldn't be so pissed about the lack of Lore.

I love how all the quests and stuff are talking about how epic you are, no longer to questgivers start you off with BS like "go prove you are a hero" instead they start you off with "ZOMG OMFG IT'S YOU!!! Go help us by killing this." Since I read the quests and enjoy the little stories I really enjoyed how they did handeled that. I also love how small the continent is, but how many more quets there are, also I lvoe the variety within each zone (The Fjord especially) and there are some truly amazing music pieces (the piano in Dragonblight, just wow). If the Burning Crusade was of this quality there would have been a LOT more people playing it to begin with.

I hear that people have already cleared the end game raids, which I'm happy with since I hated having to spend so much time doing BS at the end, now I can see everything and still have time to go out take care of my girl. No more late night raids, or raiding 5 days a week!

As for gear, I'm a feral druid and our itemization is the same exact one as a rogue's it's bullshit and annoying as hell and Blizz better change that and soon, but that's just 1 spec of 1 class out of now 30 combinations, so that's just a personal rant.

Haven't picked it up yet (and probably won't for a while) but I'm on Deathecus and still a complete noob. I'm level 35-ish I think and have only ever been in like 2 or 3 groups. >_>

^ Finish up any games you want to finish up because it will suck away all your play time. I'm honestly considering blowing off my L4D group so I can hit 80 faster.

P.S. What's with blizzard and crap? First I had to collect bat crap, then I had to search through wolf crap, and just now I had to search through my own crap. I honestly foresee a quest called 2 gnomes 1 cup coming up soon.

level 72 now, im on EU Genjuros (just transferred to there)

I really like the expansion, especially the fjord is awesome!
all my friends are playing again, it's like TBC all over again..although this seems to have a lot more polish!

can't wait to hit 80 =)

I am currently a level 72 Horde Tauren (Beast Master) Hunter named Valdarus. My character is located on the Gurubashi PvP server. I have only 1 character, (just too hard for alts with being in the military, wife, and 2 daughters). Plus my 360 is a blast to play, and helps split my time. Luckily I beat Gears 2 and Dead Space right before Wrath release.

I was at the midnight release....waited for an hour before I got my copy of Wrath. Loaded it up, and have been enjoying it ever since. I have seen 3 level 80's and even a 78 Death Knight (yesterday). I mean.....sheesh.... I guess, meth + WoW= 78 DK in 3 days,....XD.

I love my hunter and love the lore of Warcraft. I have a great guild full of great friends. I honestly didnt even start playing WoW until 7 months after the BC expansion came out. Without the guild, and my friends within it, I probably would have quit WoW a while ago.

The new expansion is awesome, and I really like the look of the new gear and characters. Leveling doesnt seem as tedious, and the story arc has been very fulfilling. I only wish I could get to 80 a bit faster.....oh well, I am enjoying it. L4D comes out tomorrow so I may be splitting some of my time....been looking forward to it for months....we shall see.

I play, I don't have Wrath yet but I play a Dwarf Paladin on Baelgun. It definitely isn't the best server and I would prefer a pvp one but it was the server all my friends were already on.

My friends who have Wrath of the Lich King think it's great though and they are enjoying the quests that are there. Also multi-person mounts are awesome!

Multi-person mounts are a two way deal. I call mine the gank mobile, but it's also the bitch mobile since people can just afk while you ride it.,ff course the solution is to drop them off a ledge and laugh when they come back.

I play an Undead Mage, and I'm at 76 right now. I agree about the Wrathgate quest line too. That cutscene was amazing, and taking back Undercity with Thrall and Sylvannas was one of the coolest things I've ever done in a game. I'm pushing to get to 80 now because I really want to work on getting my tailoring up and then I can distract myself with trying to get obscure achievements.

I play an undead warrior named...surprise Tigawoods on the Khaz Modan server. He's lvl 70 and very well geared for all three specs. I'd start lvling him to 80 but.....the freaking Deathknights are fun to play. Im at lvl 64 with mine now.

so how is the game ? beacuse i heard that the levels when higher then before.
