when sony say 11 million shipped by Mar08, do they mean total PS3 or for this fiscal year (ie ignoring the 5.5 'shipped' before Mar07)?...that's my question.

either way they won't sell through (to gamers) 11 mill before Jan 1st..... but it could be possible(if sony mean the second thing) by end of Mar08.

now i said that's possible, but i wouldn't predict more than 8 million before January 1st, and no more than 9.5 million by end of March.

Oh no no, that's not doable then I misunderstood. I meant 11 million by the end of March 08 sold to consumers. That's doable.

It's called MGS 4, Killzone 2 and maybe FF XIII. Keep those titles written down.


SSBB, SMG, MP3 will sell more but I don't see them selling 7 mil consoles.


Cause you know those are the only games coming out on PS3...

Use VGChartz World-->Compare Consoles.
Select PS2 and PS3 and align launches. The two trend lines pretty much follow each other. The extrapolation is by the end of the calendar year they will be around 6mil. and by the end of their fiscal year they will be around 8.5-9mil.
