I've noticed some people's logic in these threads to justify their choice of a game going to the Wii is that it would get more sales on it than if it came to the PS3 and/or 360.  Strangely enough they seem to ignore the fact that third parties have *much* better sales on the DS and it has a *much* larger installed base than the Wii. I mean why do some people use a particular logic when it comes to the Wii and then throw that logic out the window when it comes to the DS?

Take KH3 for example, a game I've said in the past is going to go to the DS, I see many people saying it's going to go to the Wii but I have to ask, why? If it's solely going to go to a system based on sales (and not because one of the console makers is giving a moneyhat to get it) then why the Wii over the DS? I could see if these RPGs were FPS and the DS didn't have the controls or power to play them well but they're RPGs and the DS is just as suited for them as any other system.

 i understand and agree with Legend mostly. However, the reason people would say KH3 won't come to DS is because it is not a home console. I would expect a spin-off for the DS and the main game for one of the consoles, but it would make perfect logical sense for KH to come to the DS. And Brothers in Arms DS kind of proved that FPS's can work on handheld systems, and it works perfectly fine. The accuracy of the game can be compared to the mouse, but it seems that people tend to overlook that.

Well really if you look at the stats of sales...soriku wouldn't you think it will come to the DS or Wii?

He's not saying that it absolutely must come to the DS, he's simply saying it's possible. Here is simple logic in the form of an imaginary argument:

You: Main sequels of major franchises don't go to handhelds.
Legend: This is not true. DQ9 is on the DS.
You: Okay, but FF XIII, MGS4, DMC4 etc. are not on handhelds.
Legends. This is irrelevant. You said that main sequels don't go on handhelds. I showed you one example of this not being the case. You are wrong.

Put simply: showing that main sequels often don't go to handhelds doesn't change the fact that they sometimes do. Legend isn't saying that the sequel absolutely definitely will come to handhelds, he's just saying it's possible, and he's basing his claim on evidence. 

It is all up in the air until TGS.

PS3=Possibility if they said the HIGHEST SPEC hardware and the last one was on the PS2.
Wii=Maybe but i dont think the motion control would compliment the game.
X360=LOL thats a laugh if it went to this i would be more shocked than if the Wii suddenly stopped selling.
DS=Spinoff possible main title no.
PSP=Possible in the future if they remakeing the others for it.
