Wow VGC certainly overtracked this game by a large amount. BTW wth is an evergreen title??

 A title that sells consistently even after 2 years or 3 years of release. 

Its good that is not selling that well.

 Yeah, but when they put a US flag next to the word "America" it shouldn't be shocking that some people think it means just the US.

I'm sure it'll be evergreen but it'll also always be lowly step bother of the other Wii games which will all sell 10x as much

Look at it this way: Nintendo has made at least 8 evergreen titles so far this generation (Nintendogs, Wii Play, New Super Mario Bros, Brain Training, More Brain Training, Mario Kart DS, Wii Fit, and Mario Kart Wii), with at least 1 up for debate due to pack-in status (Wii Sports). Of those, how many can you profess to have purchased and played? If the answer is less than 4, then I don't think you're exactly qualified to be making accurate estimates on the "evergreen factor" of Wii Music.

Any less than half of those games having been properly observed indicates a lack of solid understanding in what makes the games appealing, which is only expounded upon when you don't understand how they're still selling so well. To understand a market trend, you must observe the market trend from either a neutral or outsider standpoint, and not from an intentionally contrarian one. Going into anything with expectations counter to reality is a surefire path to problems.

Before you analyze a market trend and decide what fits into it, make sure you understand the market trend itself. That's all.
