Forums - General - Why are people so racist? it makes me sad

I have never been horrible or mean to anyone of other races, I have always judged people by personality, not by race. In the area I  used to live I had been subjected to racist prods several times, it isn't nice. I like to think most people are civil, but sadly it's not the case for everyone.

Anyway. Today I was standing with a mate of mine in town having a chat, not disturbing anyone and I spotted a black woman heading up the street, obviously on a warpath for some reason. She approached me and pushed me out of the way and screeched at me "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY YOU MILKY WHITE CUNT..."  and just walks of muttering "YOU PEOPLE PISS ME OFF". It was 100% unprovoked on my end.

I was so angry, I felt like approaching her and pucnhing her square in the face, but I didn't because that wouldn't be proper and this way I would be the bigger person.

Why are people so ignorant and violent? It makes me sad.

Well, down in the deep south of the good ole US of a, the African Americans here already have superiority complex b/c of slavery 150 years ago. (It's a double standard, it's ok to racist against whites, Asians, etc. but not blacks.)

And being that Obama just got elected, things have only gotten worse.
