Have they ever actually said anything like that? I honestly haven't been following any recent news with the Conduit, but their earlier interviews suggested they were simply filling a void in the market that no one else was putting any serious effort into. If they do expect their one game to completely breakdown hardened stereotypes of the Wii and change entire sales trends, that’s utterly insane. Just as insane as thinking those who think Little Big Planet will break the PS3’s stereotype as the high end cinematic console, or this NXE nonsense breaking the 360’s stereotype as male-testosterone driven shooter console.

I was only arguing past endeavors don’t necessarily dictate future ones. I’m personally not all that concerned with what other people buy, so all that would matter to me is if the game is good or not.

1. Almost every HD game is released on both 360 and PS3 right now, one that isn't is because there are exclusivity contracts, or architecture issues, much like Valve is having... it's necessary to be profitable.

2. Shrinking? $400 vs $200 and $300 during an economical crisis, that's all I can tell you.

3. Wait for this, wait for that, has come. 2009 is a year for titanic PS3 releases, and you'll see the results well.

4. 360 and PS3 have pretty equal software sales when you take userbase into proportion. Also, some people prefer buying on 360 because of XBL, sometimes DLC, sometimes better version. Both consoles are very similar.

5. Talk about too small to cater for anymore. At least the PS3 doesn't get mainly shovelware or gimped vrsions.

Lets see about that in 2009, but to tell you honestly, there are more Wii games I want to buy in 2009 than the 360 and PS3. Like Marvelous, Namco Bandai and SEGA exclusive games for the Wii. Not to mention Tenchu IV, the only reason why I plan on buying xbox 360 right now anyway was because of RE5, Prince of Persia and GTA IV.

The ps3 has outsold the 360 by 1.5 million consoles this year, with the 360 consistently being at a smaller price point. The ps3 this october had software sales 200% higher than last october according to NPD, how can it be shrinking! Are more people returning their ps3's than buying them? I highly fucking doubt it.

Dont tell me about the percent and stats and what not, we're not economists here, just discuss the physical count whats the real amounts of sales. Fable 2 just beat LBP in sales in the month of October and the 360 beats the Ps3 2 to 1. Thats what we're discussing here.

Wait wait, earlier you said you were going to buy a 360 over a ps3 due to it having more games, yet the only games you'll buy a 360 for are available on the ps3 as well? Someone's contradicting themselves.
