Get Lord of the Rings Conquest... Same devs that did Battlefront

You seem to enjoy the shooter games, so I would probably say go for Left 4 Dead.

Me personally though, I would go with Fable II.

@craighopkins I don't like lord of the rigs at all and thought that battlefront was just ok.

@SHMUPGurus True, i did like axis and allies but thats because they really couldn't do much better at the time it was made and i loved the board game.

 I'll try the left 4 dead demo on the weekend...Mabye I'll give fable 2 a rent (wasn't all pleased with the first one)

Any other genre other than shooter that you really enjoy? If so, you should look into those games.

There's nothing else.

All the best new games have already been mentioned, so you're down to the lesser known, obscure games which are entirely dependent upon personal tastes.

L4D relies entirely upon multiplayer online co-op play. It's fun, but remains to be seen how the simple formula holds up for a 20 stage game.

Other than that, Tomb Raider Underworld. Played it through Steam, XBL demo should be out as well. Fair amount of improvements over the last two games, visually and in platforming mechanics (combat mechanics are the same as ever) but at this point, either you like TR, or you don't.

Well you seem to like shooters, and I don't see Far Cry 2 on your blacklist, so why not that?
