The problem is, we don't know if they tracked LBP, unofficial week. If they were, than it is disappointing being outsold by socom.

No use in arguing with such ignorance. First you say LBP is the only game that gets massive ads. Then you say you dont watch tv and now you are trying to weasle your way out./

yea i've probably seen the LBP ads about 10 times by now, more than any other game the last couple weeks. Quite a few fallout and tom clancy ads too though.

I'll admit to wanting Wii Music to flop.  I want Miyamoto and the good Nintendo devs to work on something awesome for their oldtime fans.  I have not experienced WiiMusic for myself, but I am skeptical at best. 

Maybe they'd work on a new IP comparable to a Mario or Zelda or something instead.

LBP I like a lot and am cheering for, though the numbers don't bode well.  But they are early.

Of course it's tracked. If it was sold, it would be entered into the database as a sale, early or not. They're not gonna simply sell it without any data being recorded into whatever retailers system.

How is that weasling my way out of it?! I said it was advertised in many different media outlets. I work in the media so obviously i will notice it. BUT i dont sit at home all day watching tv, i have a job i have a life, and if i didnt i wouldnt sit on my ass watching tv all day....The time i do watch tv which is after 7pm if i had to say what adverts i have seen on tv for games then that would be LBP as i said. If you actually bothered to read what i said i didnt say it was just advertised on tv i said it was in magazines and on websites for over 2 years. It was the main game to come out of E3 2007. It won Game Of Show. So ou can try and twist what im saying but what im saying is true and is fact. You might not agree with it and you might not like it but LBP is 2008's game that underachived the most. There were loads of games that didnt do as well as expected, that doesnt make LBP the only one, it just makes it the one with the highest profile.

 Uh... the problem here is that only a few stores broke release date. Who is to say that NPD recieved data from those stores? NPD gets data from a certain % of retailers then expands the numbers that they think the rest of the market would be. It's not like NPD has control of retailers data base.

Also I think Sony is confused with this recall along with retailers... whos to say trackers arent confused as well
